Award Description:
The award will be given to a HSE Professional who demonstrates outstanding achievement in the occupational safety and health (OSH) field while also advancing their HSE capabilities and contributions towards the community.
Individuals nominations must include an endorsement from individuals line manager or higher.
Award scoring criteria:
Nominees must be able to showcase and evidence the below criteria in the submission form.
Competency – 10% of total score
Candidates HSE qualifications, memberships, and areas of specialization or proof of furthering ones knowledge and learning.
Contribution – 10% of total score
Submission gives evidence of the candidate’s contribution to the industry or society through coaching, mentoring, training etc.
Endorsement – 5% of total score
Submission includes a personal recommendation from the candidate’s line manager or mentor.
Achievements and experience – 20% of total score
The candidates submission outlines their scope of work, areas of involvement and key achievements.
Ingenuity and impact – 25% of total score
Submission showcases how the candidate goes beyond the regular scope of their work. Their planned initiatives or implemented actions that have made significant contributions to HSE within their organization or within the community.
Leadership and role model – 30% of total score
Submission shows evidence that the candidate displays leadership qualities and acts as a team player. The submission illustrates how the candidate influences other young professionals and displays the potential to act as a role model for younger individuals moving into the industry
