INTRODUCTION
Welcome to PDO’s 2018 Safety Day, which will take place on Wednesday, the 21st February. A fundamental pillar in achieving and sustaining a world class safety performance is ‘Leadership’. Our focus this year will revolve around the importance of having the right safety leadership attributes.
It is essential for all of us to understand our roles as safety leaders, what we mean by leadership and how could demonstration of true leadership attributes help in creating a strong safety culture for us to achieve no harm to people and the environment, which is the altimate aim our Goal Zero journey.
Please attend the Safety Day session and actively participate in the discussions.
Please take time out to discuss:
* What is leadership and how important it is to our Goal Zero journey, and
* How can you improve safety leadership for yourself and team.
