The holy month of Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar in which Muslim adults observe the fast from dawn to sunset every year. Ramadan is a month for spiritual purification and a month that you enjoy precious moments with your families and friends. To do what you have to do in Ramadan, you should maintain your health and safety during the holy month.
It is sad that the Royal Oman Police reports an increased traffic accidents during the month of Ramadan with a higher number of fatalities compared to other months. This is mainly due to fatigue especially in the afternoon caused by the change in lifestyle during Ramadan. Getting enough rest is a key to safer driving during the holy month and the hot weather.
