PDO is not alone in its exposure to road accidents and fatalities, each year 1.3 million lives worldwide are lost due to road accidents. The UN has declared the 21st November as the International Road Safety Day and everyone in PDO and its contractor workforce is encouraged to focus on re-emphasizing the road safety message to its drivers on this day through tool box talks and education.
