The simplifications of the HSE Management systems has upgraded it to be : • It is simple to use, visual, concise and accessible on PCs, tablets and certain smart-phones. • Many obsolete documents have been withdrawn. A reduction (>85%) in documentation and unnecessary content. • All procedures are now one-page instructions and are presented as process flow diagrams. • No duplication exists in the system. • Roles, responsibilities and supporting documentation, templates, checklists, are linked. • Specifications have been retained as they contain reference information. Guideline documents are no longer used. • Improved understanding of interaction and dependencies of processes. • Cost saving not only in terms of less documentation, but less management time, improved control, improved usability (1 page per activity) and improved monitoring
