Road Safety Calendar Poster

Roads are the arteries of the the nation - they connect people, industry and communities. Since so many lives depend on it, it the duty of every road user to keep it safe for themselves and others.

As part of Petroleum Development Omans (PDO) on-going campaign to promote awareness and encourage obedience of the basic rules of road use, a unique drawing competition on the theme of Road Safety was organised for the children of PDO employees and contractors.

Twelve pictures and messages from children aged 3 to 10 years have been selected to repersent a month in this calendar - and to act as powerful reminder that road safety effects everyone.

Adults can always learn from our children with their innocence, honesty and frankness; we just have to listen.
