Incident at a shipyard in Malaysia
An example of a poor lifting study when lifting a long pipe with 2 cranes. The centre of gravity was not taken into account, the pipe turned and smashed the scaffolding on which 4 or 5 workers were standing. It is only luck that nobody died. On the last slide note the poor first aid that is given to the worker. He might have a broken back or neck: moving a victim of a fall/crash should be left to professionals. A non-trained person can do more damage than the accident: permanent total disability.
