The installation of the IVMS Travel Buddies into the PDO fleet is nearly complete. Within weeks it will be impossible to drive a PDO fleet vehicle without an IVMS key.
As promised we will have a "bedding in" period where drivers will get used to driving with IVMS before we begin using its info to challenge those shown to be in need of change. This time is being used for IVMS focal points and line managers of people who drive to receive IVMS training.
If you have receive an email from SDI-Sheida regarding `IVMS training for Focal Points¿ or `IVMS training for Line Managers, you have been nominated by your team as their IVMS focal point or are the line manager of people that drive PDO vehicles in your department and you are required to receive IVMS training. You can check on the attached link whether you have been nominated.
If you do not receive training then you will find it impossible to understand IVMS and your team will be compromised when they ask you for your support. The MDC will also be updated on the progress of people trained.
The IVMS courses being provided are:
-
A personal tuition session at your computer (for as long as you need) on the IVMS web site and its capabilities.
-
A half day group training session for IVMS and coaching techniques.
IVMS Focal points are required to attend both courses. Line Managers need only attend the half day course but the one to one session is optional if you so wish :
What you will get from the training:
-
Understanding of what the IVMS system can do for your team.
-
How to support management on coaching improvements.
Shortcuts to get reports at the touch of a button.
Please see the attached schedule of courses, choose a slot for yourself and then phone 92320562 to book your place, first on the personal tuition and then the group session. If you have booked already, please confirm your booking on the number above.
Don¿t be left behind and ensure you can support your team on IVMS when they need it.
