Two employees borrowed a private car from a colleague and left for Muscat without permission for an Eid visit to their family. When returning their vehicle rolled over on the blacktop road near Nizwa. They were driving at very high speed. They were NOT wearing their safety belt. Both victims were thrown out of the car and died on the spot. The immediate cause of the rollover was a burst tyre.
